Biography:

Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor; Deputy Director of the Institute of Cyberspace Security, School of Computer Science, Sun Yat-sen University; Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Information Technology (Sun Yat-sen University), Ministry of Education; and a recipient of the Guangdong Provincial Young Top Talent Program. He is a member of IEEE and the China Computer Federation (CCF), a senior member of the China Society of Image and Graphics, and a committee member of the Digital Media Forensics and Security Technical Committee.

He has published more than 60 papers, including over 20 papers in the top four conferences in information security, IEEE/ACM Transactions, and CCF Class-A conferences, and holds multiple authorized national invention patents. He has served as principal investigator for four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (including international cooperation, general, and young scientist projects), one subproject of a National Key R&D Program, five projects funded by the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation or the Guangdong Department of Science and Technology, as well as a number of other vertical research projects. He has also participated as a key contributor in nearly 10 national- and provincial-level major or key projects.

His former students have gone on to work at public institutions, state-owned enterprises, and leading IT companies, including China Southern Power Grid, Tencent, Alibaba, ByteDance, Huawei, Honor, and NetEase Games.
